HELLO FROM

KATARINA & SAMMY

In 2024 I was running wonderful Forest Bathing and Tree Children sessions in Kent, England.
I love connecting children and adults to nature and guide them to slow down and enjoy the simplicity, magic and beauty of the natural world.

As a Mum, Forest Bathing guide and Mental Health First Aider I daily connect to nature and continuously guide my son to do the same.

Sammy will be three in June and understands Slovak, English and a little bit of Italian. He loves tractors and cars. He still has a daily naps and I am still breastfeeding him. Such a lucky boy.

We have twelve years old greyhound Mischa who is super chilled and gentle when kids approach her. She sleeps most of the time and sometime I forget she is in the house.

I had a vision of living simple life, close to nature and our Italian home made my dream come true.

We are excited to connect with you in the greenest region of Italy, Abruzzo.

We welcome English, Slovak and Italian speaking visitors.

Tree Children Adventures are tailored to your needs and wants that we explore before your booking or the arrival.

Children will be daily guided and invited to explore nature and engage with it.

Here are some ideas to be experienced in the garden and immediate surroundings:

There are many natural beauty places we can visit from just 30 minutes drive from our house:

Bike lovers can explore beaches on the bike with a child seat attached.

Our days will have a plan that we create together, however it will be always open for variations to accommodate children's mood and needs.

There is no pressure to go anywhere and you may choose to stay in our garden and immediate surroundings.

OUR DREAM HOME

Our home is located in a beautiful peaceful countryside near Alanno.
We are based 30 minutes from Pescara Airport and 2 hours from Rome.

We are grateful to be surrounded by nature and a 360 view of mountains, meadows, olive trees and rolling hills. On days with good visibility we can see the sea.
We are very lucky to see the sunrise and sunset from our land.
We enjoy the generous space of 5,000 m2 and the privacy this location offers.

I love watching Sammy wandering around the garden being free, creative, curious, spontaneous and happy.

Despite being a bit isolated, everything seems to be a short distance drive. Shops, pharmacy, restaurants, highway 10 minutes drive, ski resort 35 minutes, the nearest beach 30 minutes, Pescara Airport 30 minutes drive.

We are grateful for nearby farms with sheep and cows that are a 5 minutes walk away. Sammy loves to climb the tractors and jump on the rolls of hay.

Wine lovers can enjoy two local wineries Castorani and Tocco. Wine tasting is possible to organise.

Our house has three bedrooms, an entry hall, veranda, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining room and a large living room with fireplace. The utility room is based in a garage in the basement.

Each room sleeps two people plus a travel cot we can provide.

Our land is not fenced as we want to be part of nature and see it from everywhere.

INDIVIDUAL APPROACH AND TAILORED SERVICES

Tree Children Adventures offers an individual approach and tailored services due to a maximum capacity of four people per stay. We are available to you all day long.

NO NEED TO DRIVE

Cost for transportation to shops, restaurants, daily trips and Pescara airport transfer is included in the price.

If you fly to Rome airports, transfer charge of additional EUR 86 will be applied. Rome airports are approximately two hours away and on the way some lovely gardens and old villages can be visited.

BREAKFAST INCLUDED

Continental style breakfast is included in the price.
Lunch and dinner can be cooked together and share the cost or you are welcome to cook separately.
We can also go to restaurants to try some lovely pizza, pasta and local specialities.

SO HOW MUCH ?

The cost is EUR 118 for room per night.

which includes accommodation, breakfast, nature guidance, activities organisation, transfers to trips and Pescara airport.

"Abruzzo What a beautiful and enriching break we had with Katarina and Sammy in Italy last November. Katarina’s home sits on the top of a hill surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and farmland. Breathtaking views of mountains, sea and the open fields surround the property - the loo with a view was a particular favourite. Katarina took us on nature walks beside turquoise lakes, through gorges beside rivers and waterfalls. We played in the sand and swam in the sea on the same day as we rolled snow balls in the mountains. Katarina’s passion and appreciation of nature is infectious and, having a toddler herself, she is well aware of the flexibility required to create a calm and fun experience for all. The way Katarina managed all the planning, from airport pick up to trips and meals, meant my toddler and I could concentrate on getting ourselves organised and enjoy the holiday! Obviously each stay will vary, being led to a huge extent by our toddlers’ needs. It’s this personal approach that makes me look forward to returning in a different season to experience coparenting in nature with Katarina again."
